Dr. Dario Pinzon graduated from vet school in his home country of Colombia.  After moving to the United States he worked for several years for a veterinary ophthamologist in New Jersey while studying to get his license here in the U.S.  He received his license in 2007 and has been working at a traditional small animal veterinary hospital in south Orlando before deciding to open his own mobile practice.  Dr. Pinzon resides in Kissimmee with his wife – Adrianna, his dogs – Kabul & Mateo, and two adorable chinchillas.

 

 

 

 

Dr. April Geer received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 1998 and was the co-owner of a small animal veterinary hospital in Columbus, Ohio until moving to Florida in 2006.  Here, she had been working at the same traditional small animal hospital in south Orlando as Dr. Pinzon until deciding to open Paws Around Town Mobile Vet Hospital.  Dr. Geer resides in Poinciana with her husband and their menagerie of pets consisting of 5 dogs – Samantha, Wilbur, Chloe, Higgins, and Oliver, and 5 cats – Fire, Mamma, Norman, Calvin and Dottie.

 

Dr. Joseph Geer is Dr. April Geer’s husband.  He was her mentor during vet school and when she joined him in his practice in Columbus Ohio,  and continues to be her mentor today.  Dr. Joe graduated from The Ohio State University Veterinary College in 1978.  Today,  he is mostly retired but helps Paws Around Town by consulting on difficult cases and performing some of the more complicated surgeries.
